Hi Friends! It's been a wild week over here. And Happy National Infertility Awareness Week to those in the thick of it. As fate would have it, I'm currently recovering from a rather intense egg retrieval. I tend to hyperstimulate, so let's just say I'm very, very swollen. Like, I can't fit into my jeans swollen. But the good news is that we're closer to having Baby #2. Of course, there are more hurdles to jump, like, a lot more, but this was a good step—a tiny win. And when you're walking the IVF road, you must celebrate the wins.
We're also battling massive seasonal allergies in my household, so if you have any tips and tricks, I'd love to read all about them in the comments. Sharing is caring. My eyeballs thank you in advance.
Now, let's get into this week's Friday Five:
I have been living in this Spice Girls t-shirt from Abercrombie and this Fourth Wing t-shirt. And leggings, of course. The fun part about vintage tees is that you can pair them with jeans and a cute bootie, and poof - you have an outfit that's a little more elevated. What's not to love?!
While recovering from my egg retrieval, I binged With Love, Meghan. It. Was. Lovely. I am convinced that the internet wants to hate this woman for existing. People want to make themselves relevant by making her a talking point for their blog. Or podcast. Or Instagram Live or whatever, and it's just tiring. You're doing something wrong if your career hinges on you ripping others to shreds. She's talking about making pasta, homemade bath salts, and putting tiny edible flowers in ice cubes to make a party more magical. She takes peanut butter pretzels from a plastic bag and puts them in a cute container to make her friends feel more special. What's not to love?! Is it cheesy at times? Sure. But there is so much sadness, anger, fire, brimstone, and cruelty in this world, especially lately, that we all need a little more cheese. With Love, Meghan reminds us to find the joy - and that is something to celebrate.
My son loves playing matching games. It's a great way to learn letters, numbers, shapes, and colors. These packs are wonderful.
